First it was not coming, then we would only get tropical storm wind and rain, now it hit category 3 and it’s getting lower.  Fuck!!

I was at my favorite hanging spot today, Walgreen’s when I came across this…

It took me about 5 minutes to convince myself that it was actually Mariah Carey. It’s a little painful to watch.

Then at the supermarket this stepped on my way!

I don’t know if that term is accepted in any version of anglicisms but I’m pretty sure it isn’t.

My first rotation this period is psychiatry. I’m not hating it yet but I wasn’t looking forward to it either. This should be interesting and I will probably be reporting about it often.

Now, meet Rocco. Newest addition to the family. I don’t like dogs but he’s kind of cute.

*I started this post yesterday (Friday) but had to leave so I came back today and finished it.

Today was my last day of work FINALLY so not only it’s a great day because I realized KCL is back but also ‘cuz I finished the summer internship. Well I arrived early today and the doctor asked if I could do him the favor of dropping his laptop off at the computer shop because the touch pad was not working. Off to the store I went. I pulled the front door of the shop and it was open, the guy by the counter received so I went over and explained him the problem with the computer and that the computer was not mine etc. He picked the phone up to call the workshop and ask if someone could check the computer quick followed by the very own manager coming into the store yelling and scolding the employee. I thought he was joking until I realized he wasn’t. I stood there with my arms crossed shocked by the way this asshole was treating the poor guy because he let me in when the store was still closed, then he looked at me -with the face of someone that hasn’t gotten laid in ten years- and yelled ‘if you want to get this computer fixed, leave the store and come back at 9:30am because that’s when we open for customers’. I looked at my watch and it was 9:20am. WHAT THE FUCK?!

I sarcastically laughed and asked if he was talking to me because I had my doubts. He looked at me again and said ‘I said get out now’. I seriously felt the little Puertorican I have in me flowing through my veins and I wanted to beat the shit out of that fucking asshole but since that was not even my computer I just said ‘wow’ and left not before excusing myself with the employee since I it was all my fault.

Back in the hospital I explained the doctor what happened and he was a shocked as I still was. A few hours later I got a call from the owner of the store apologizing for his manager and then very own asshole manager apologized to me. I still want to beat the crap out of him.

The internship is almost over. Yes!!!!
I’ve aged like 10 years after all these weeks with very little sleep and too much stress. I have a few days off after July 30th before I have to get back to class and I want to plan a little vacation.

Any suggestions???

When the Germans said they were not going to “forgive” the Argentinians, I didn’t think it was going to be that quick!

Earlier today at the hospital I saw a birth where everyone including the doctor were dressed in clown costumes. I’m not kidding.

The wedding was great, awesome, beautiful!! Just one little minor detail, the priest never made it to the church. They had to wait for over 3 hours before another priest could come and marry them. No one knows what happened but priest B said something about priest A being out of the country. Whatever, it was the shortest ceremony I’ve ever been to and it was great. I will post pics soon
